Summer Series ~ 2019

7, 14, 21, 28, July 2019- North Vancouver Shipyards Polygon Gallery

In July 2019, Small Stage blossomed with another incredible Summer Series! From tapping in the Polygon Fountain to twirling next to the hustle and bustle of Robson Street, the Summer Series brought the public a unique and memorable performance.

For this year’s show, dancers took inspiration from their favourite summer flowers to create incredible performances that made audiences say “What in carnation?!” Each show featured a variety of different dance pieces rooted in contemporary styles. These foot-traffic-stopping shows provided the perfect complement to a Vancouver summer evening to entertain lovers of dance and passers-by alike.

Our stage sprouted up in Bute Robson Plaza and the North Vancouver Shipyards every Saturday and Sunday throughout the month.

Saturdays at Bute Robson Plaza + Sundays outside the Polygon Gallery
