In this brand-new work, Dances for a Small Stage presents a high-energy performance featuring an eclectic line-up of Canada’s top dance artists and musicians, from Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa, and Halifax.
A lively showcase of daring artistry and imaginative collaborations, Dances for a Small Stage takes inspiration from Weimar Cabaret.
This progressive, glamorous cabaret style was made popular in late 1920s Germany, now known for its high-living attitude and vibrant, boundary-pushing artistic practices.
