Canada Day #OnRobson

about the show

For Canada Day 2019, the sidewalks between Burrard and Denman came alive with music, entertainment, dance performances, kids' activities, street hockey, interactive art, delicious fare, business promotions and more! In partnership with the Robson Street Business Association and the West End Business Improvement Association, event attendees and lucky passers-by were delighted by the live shows and interactive activities, hosted on one of the busiest streets in Vancouver.

The event included five activation zones, located near popular shopping areas and eateries. Many of the surrounding businesses also participated in the festivities, offering discounts, promotions, and specials for customers to enjoy. Throughout the day, Small Stage danced their way around Bute Robson Plaza and Eihu Lane, showcasing a variety of performances rooted in contemporary styles. Small Stage dancers kicked off their performances at Eihu Lane, located between CB2 and Shenanigans, at 1:30pm and 3:00pm. To make the dance performances even more accessible, they also popped up in Bute Robson Plaza for shows at 2pm and 4pm.

This lively Canada Day celebration was one to remember!
