about the show

For this season of love, Small Stage danced their way to the Anza Club from February 14th to 17th, 2018. Starting at 8:00 pm each night, audiences were immersed in the hybrid dance-cabaret with the age-old exposé of the universal story of love.

Attendees fell head over heels for our dancers, who performed in dance styles including contemporary and street dance. Each performance was inspired by the universal story of love, and featured pieces that drew from love letters, love through the ages, secret admirers, and modern love. As with many Small Stage shows, dancers and choreographers were given the stage and platform to bring their own visions to life, supported by the creative direction of Small Stage Creative Producer, Julie-anne Saroyan, and Small Stage’s Artistic Associate, Vanessa Goodman.
